I've used SOS Locksmith twice in the last 4 months for different issues.

 

For the first call, we had several locks changed for my condo association in attempt to get rid of our "Janitor Set" of keys needed to navigate the building. SOS re-keyed the locks to condense our key set from 5 to 1, repairing 2 broken locks in the process.

 

Today I called on SOS Locksmith to replace a broken lock cylinder on our buildings main front entry door (not part of the previous work), and to replace a door handle that had also been recently broken(also not part of his previous work). The total job took about 20minutes.

 

I would highly recommend SOS to anyone. They are on-time, professional, and all costs are explained to me upfront.

 

If any of my friends need a locksmith, I can say "I got a guy" and i'll give them SOS Locksmith

Before we move into our new apartment we wanted to have the locks changed so we called SOS. They sent a very nice guy who showed us several different security key options and had the locked changed without any issues in less than an hour. The cost was fair and they came at the time we scheduled them to arrive.

Unnecessary drama in my life this morning when I accidentally locked myself out of my apartment. Instant panic mode. Thank goodness I was able to find a friend/neighbor and immediately Google locksmiths NYC. SOS Locksmith was first on Google I called and these guys were at my door within the hr. SOS Locksmth is awesome! Our front door lock was broken, and I called SOS. Their tech called right back, was able to get me in very quickly, arrived on time, fixed my lock and did a great job! Slavic (forgive me if I'm spelling that wrong!) was terrific, and was very careful to make sure my lock was fixed correctly, not just quickly.

I wasn't pushed to buy a new lock, and Itay made me feel very confident that our locks are still in great working order, and that they are super-secure. He said he wouldn't replace what I have because they are such high-quality locks!

You know how, with some contractors, they leave your house, and you feel like you got ripped off, and paid too much? That is NOT the case with SOS Locksmith. I was charged what I considered to be a VERY reasonable price, and given the 10% Discount. I'm so happy with the way our lock is now, and happy I didn't pay too much!

We needed a key to our patio door, the previous tenants had lost it. I talked to my landlord who could not find a locksmith who could do the job so I called SOS Locksmith. Within an hour someone was at the house and they got the lock to work with our current set of keys. These guys are seriously great

I called SOS Locksmith at 8AM on a weekday because the doorknob to our condo building on 14th street had fallen off that morning and anyone could walk in at any time. They were there within the hour and assessed the situation, gave me a quote and had it all fixed by 10am. SOS Locksmith made it so all of us could use our old keys as well to make it much easier for us.

Affordable and efficient and extremely nice.

I hope to not need him again, but if for any reason I do need a locksmith I will call SOS for sure!!!!
